Marty Williams, K’tunaxa Nation Council

Marty Williams from the Ktunaxa Nation, is experienced in forestry logging, silviculture, fire protection, environmental monitoring, protection, former elected counsellor served on the Ktunaxa Nation Executive Council negotiations team regarding Impact Management and Benefits Agreements with the province of British Columbia and Coal Mining companies working in the Elk Valley, southeast BC. Finally, he participated in a 3 year Integrated Resource Management Course sanctioned by the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology and worked 7 years as a firefighter first as a contractor and later as an employee of the British Columbia Ministry of Forests Protection Branch.
