Leadership Team

The Crown LCD Leadership Team is intended to represent the diversity of stakeholders living in the Crown of the Continent ecosystem including relevant social, economic, and environmental disciplines and local, traditional, and indigenous groups. The Leadership Team is charged with making coarse decisions that guide Design development as well as identifying and forging connections across the broad Crown landscape to ensure the LCD retains a holistic approach. Participation is open to persons interested who can meaningfully contribute to the LCD. Team members are expected to participate in a monthly phone call and to effectively communicate LCD objectives, process and progress with staff of their home organization, as well as to colleagues and partners across the Crown ecosystem.

Technical Team

The technical team is comprised of technical specialists that represent the Leadership Team and stakeholders. They ensure analysts use the best data available and vetted analytical approaches. This Technical Team convenes once per month by phone and web meeting.  The Team is open to persons with technical knowledge of applied spatial analysis including (but not limited to) spatial data structure, acquisition, manipulation and application; database management; GIS platforms and function; optimization modeling; and technical communication.

Analysis Team

Analysts are responsible for completion of the work as described in the work plan.  They work with and under the guidance of the Leadership Team and in collaboration with the Technical Team.  The Analysis Team (with advice from the Technical Team) will identify and convene ad hoc panels of local and regional subject matter experts to ensure a full understanding of status and trend of focal landscape features, including emerging threats to those features.
