Recreation, Education and Partnerships Manager, Alberta Environment and Parks

I am a forest health biologist by training and practice, but moved into land management several years ago. My current role is Recreation, Education and Partnerships Manager for public land in the southern half of Alberta. The work is plentiful and the problems wicked. As a regular user of public land I savour the challenge and love my job. When not trying to figure out how to make recreationalists happy, I am in the mountains with my two kids biking, hiking, camping, and fishing.
