CMP Annual Forum

Since the creation of the Crown Managers Partnership (CMP) in 2001, the partnership has hosted and met annually at a forum. The forum is a workshop style event focused on a different conservation topic each year. Agency and industry workers, professors, students, and members of the public are all welcome and encouraged to attend the forum. Since the CMP is founded on collaboration and inclusion, we’ve limited as many barriers to attendance as possible. The location of the forum rotates from year to year between Alberta, British Columbia, and the state of Montana.

CREATE

Create relationships and opportunities for collaboration across mandates and borders

REPORT

Report on collaborative work already underway and identify opportunities for further cooperation

BUILD

Build awareness of common interests and issues in the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem

On the day prior to the start of the forum, Crown agencies and the public are invited to participate in an agency meeting hosted by the CMP. At this meeting, agencies are invited to identify and discuss any issues that need to be addressed at regional or ecosystem scales.
